not far from the shallows of wall street
there’s an apartment on worth street in lower manhattan. large loft, high ceilings, has a bit of a factory feel to it. we’ve been shooting there these last two days. the place looks out on another building and dozens of other apartments, all of them with huge windows and very few curtains. at night, large flat screen TVs glow in almost every window. nothing else moves. a bit of the...

there are lazy afternoons defined by long shadows and a golden california light…
then there are the crisp september mornings with a wind that pulls at your scarf and makes a mess of the fallen leaves that can only be found in new york and new england. here we are.
sometime after sunset on the evening of september...
within the glow of the two vertical columns of light that rise out of lower manhattan, the east village has a very frenzied, manic, intoxicated vibe right now.
tension and release on the frontier of a crisp autumnal evening that’s warm enough for skirts and t-shirts.
entering the subway, there are crazed, half-cocked smiles all around.
